Exchange in the @adm.uw.edu.pl domain

Who is it for?

The @adm.uw.edu.pl account is an additional mailbox for administrative staff. Administrative staff also hold a parallel account in the @uw.edu.pl domain (Gmail).

How to create an Exchange account?

To set up an account, contact the central helpdesk.

Where to log in to Exchange?

poczta.adm.uw.edu.pl - new mail server (Active Directory ADM);
ex.uw.edu.pl (Active Directory UW);
access only from administrative workstations joined to the Active Directory domain.

Password reset and change

Change and forgotten password reset for the Active Directory account: mojekonto.uw.edu.pl.

Password policy

The password must:

consist of at least 14 characters;
contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 digit;
not contain the user ID or first/last name;
allowed special characters: !-_?#.,%$*+=().

Account deactivation

The @adm.uw.edu.pl account is deactivated:

within 7 days of termination of employment in administration — in all cases, including retirement;
functional account in the @adm.uw.edu.pl domain — upon loss of justification.

Terms of use

Access only from administrative workstations joined to the Active Directory domain.
Do not share login credentials with third parties or IT systems not managed by UW.
Do not forward UW mail to external systems.
When sending special category data or data covered by legally protected secrecy, use encryption of messages or attachments.
Before termination of employment in administration, delete private messages from the account.
